Another day of mountain flying FUN over the Rockies and landing at Aspen! 

Yay, I flew to Mexico for the first time and even got to practice mi Espanol!  It was an easy enough flight just had to make sure both USA and Mexico eAPIS were submitted correctly.  The large airplane in the pictures is the Mexican Presidents airplane as he was in Cancun the same day I arrived.  Check out the roof of the FBO as you can see snipers due to the fact the president was minutes away from arriving for departure.  

Back to my "motherland" once again!  We had a trip to the Canadian Rockies and flew into both Kelowna, BC and Revelstoke, BC.  

I had a great time in Canada as usual complete with curling lessons, Canadian mittens, and even more Tim Hortons then I should have consumed! lol

Wow, Cirrus really does know how to go BIG!  I spent a week at the Cirrus CX event in San Diego with team Aerista and I had a blast!  This is an annual event in which everyone involved with Cirrus Aircraft come together for a week of learning, collaboration and networking.  All aspects of Cirrus Aviation are involved from Sales, Service, and Training.  

Our whole Aerista team was at this event ...finally all of us together in one spot as we are located all around the country!  Although it did seem like herding cats most of the time to get us all in one spot during the event ;-)

The CIRRUS CX closing party took place on an aircraft carrier!  They even loaded on a SR22 and Vision Jet for the event.  It was an awesome event that was shared with fellow Aerista team members complete with tours of the carrier, drinks, music, food and of course airplanes!

After over a year of actively acting as a broker for Buying and Selling aircraft to clients I was offered the opportunity to join the Aerista Sales Team!

Aerista is a CIRRUS Pre-owned Sales Partner and has been in business since 2009 as a leading Cirrus Aircraft brokerage firm.  I'm looking forward to the possibilities and growth ahead with Aerista and being part of this amazing team of hard working aviation professionals!

Booyah, now this is why you have a Pilatus PC-12!  We flew from Aspen to Black Rock City Airport which is home to the exuberant Burning Man Festival.  This airport exists for only 2 weeks of the year to allow participants to fly right into the desert for this crazy event!  We landed on a dry lake bed which they section off with cones to define the runway and one set of chevrons leading to the beginning of the runway.  

It was a fun experience and super dusty day! :-)

Another trip to Dominican Republic which is one of my favorite destinations!  Its a quick 3.5 - 4hr flight direct from FL in the PC12 with beautiful views of the Bahamas along the way.  My friend and I were able to enjoy at one of the fun all inclusive resorts with activities, beaches and of course Brugal!

Yay, Another Successful Pilatus Trip!  We took the PC12 up to boondocks Canada aka Castlegar & Nelson, BC ...for a ski trip!  Lots of mountain flying and scenic flying down the river between the two airports.

Wow, so as usual Aspen is the place to be during the Holiday Season!  They have implemented some "required routes into ski county airports" which just so happened adding an extra 1hr onto our filed flight plan...not cool after flying 1/2 way across the country.  The "Required Route" took us South and West of Aspen, luckily when we got a little closer we were finally able to get a short cut.  A  beautiful sunset over the Rockies made up for the delays ...always very pretty to see the sunset over the mountains.
