Okay, so I'm originally from Canada...yes, the "great, white, North" ...but I moved to Florida for a reason. I like the warmth, palm-trees, sun, etc. Well, over this past holiday season my boss and his family wanted to fly to Aspen Colorado to spend the Holidays with some of their family...so off to Aspen we went! It was a great trip..but it was cold up there!
The first day we made is as far as Colorado Springs, CO...and while landing there during the beginning hours of the evening we flew through some "light" snowfall...how pretty, right?!? Well, yes it was...until the next morning when I woke up and looks out my window of my hotel room and noticed it had been snowing all night!! lol. Luckily all the snow stopped by late morning, and after an EDCT time that held us up getting into Aspen we finally arrived in Aspen early afternoon. I then relocated the airplane to Denver as its nearly impossible to get in a hangar in Aspen.
A week later I airlined back to Colorado to do the trip back...was another fun trip! Made it into a few day trip on the way back staying in Santa Fe, NM and Austin, TX ...I even got my cowgirl hat I always wanted!
